Fit Courts is putting on a 5K, kids fun run, Fit Park, youth pickup basketball and volleyball games on the courts and other activities for a FIT FEST! This back to school event is to celebrate our community involvement in health and wellness and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Hansen family. #JaxonStrong. Our community has rallied around this amazing family to help support their continued efforts in Jaxon's recovery program. We want to carry on their strength, faith and kindness by encouraging others to get active together.
Come join us for FIT FEST on Saturday, August 28th for a 3.1 mile chip timed race that will take place at Fit Courts and around Prairie Lake! Early registration through August 10th is $35 with a shirt and $30 without a shirt. After August 10th the price is $35 with no shirt.
There will be a FREE 1-mile kids race at 9 a.m. If you have a child participating in this, please arrive by 8:30. This is for kids up to age 12. A shirt will not be included.
The 5K starts at 8 a.m. and kids ages 6 and up can participate in the 5K with an adult but would need to register for the 5K. Children 5 and under can participate with an adult in the 5K at no cost. Strollers are welcome.
This family friendly event will include live music, food vendors and more activities provided in the Fit parking lot! We encourage you to bring out the family to participate in all activites and events we have to offer for kids of all ages to enjoy on this day. We will provide obstacle courses and our whole FIT park set up with riding toys & more. We will also offer Face painting ($1) by a few of our artistic volunteers. Bring a lawn chair and hang out after for a day full of active fun. Parking is limited so we ask everyone to park in the Martin Brother's parking lot at the starting line.
